In the morning the tide was the lowest. So we headed out to the beach.

Little did I know (for not a morning person) what we were going to see.

Last week we went to the beach with friends. We had a really good time. We were able to catch up and play at the beach. And of course, look at those beautiful rolling clouds and spring rain that look much prettier than in the city.

A fun time for sure.

We just came back from a beautiful weekend at the beach with friends.

We visited with friends and visited Bruce's Candy Kitchen.

Sweet in so many ways. Hope your week starts as sweet as ours.

Still some color left from these camellias.

Azaleas are starting to bloom and to give us more color after so many months of gray and brown.

We can see buds peeking everywhere!

And look at this picture (and Sara's posting) just made me smile. And how pretty this is . I can get lost looking at all the pretty-ness other crafters and artist do out there... but at the moment, I am enjoying hearing my little people running around out of our doors with old friends and new ones, enjoying the spring air.

I can't remember when was the last time I actually enjoyed spinning non-stop.

I love seeing that face of fully enjoying the moment. Need to remember that even if I can't really watch them spin around and around for whole minutes!

It didn't rain this morning.

After reading the book Pirates Past Noon, from the Magic Tree House series, we have two young pirates. We've had them before, but this time they were in a ship, heading north.

And for a house without guns, I can't stop loving this makeshift pistol (or something or other) he's made out of some part of an old barrel we found I don't know where. And you never know when you'll need a jump rope.

And of course, don't forget the crafting table!

We've had some hard few days. But it seems like we are getting back on track. Slowly. But it feels like we are going somewhere.

My mind keeps coming back to this space. This *new* space. It makes me think of the good of each of these past days. Searching something bright, fun to share, among all the chaos happening around us.

All of this reminds me of those we love the most. Hold them tight. Hold them for as long as you can. You have them with you, right now.
